Is Synth Circuit an AI course or an AI-income scheme, and is the `.life` about wellness?
No. We are a generative-AI and automation studio that builds custom AI systems for client organizations — not a course, not an "AI income" or passive-income scheme, and the `.life` TLD is branding only (NOT life coaching or wellness). "Synth" means synthesis / generative AI and "Circuit" means the workflow AI runs through. We do not guarantee accuracy, savings or ROI.
Project or retainer?
Prototype and production wiring are fixed-scope projects in CAD. Ongoing guardrails and evals, prompt updates and MLOps monitoring move to monthly retainer after launch. We define project scope in writing before work begins.
Typical CAD budgets?
Strategy and gen-AI prototype: C$7,500–C$16,000. Production conversational AI or content generation systems: C$30,000–C$110,000. Workflow automation circuits with multiple integrations: C$28,000–C$95,000. Retainers: C$5,500–C$16,000/month.
Timeline?
Prototype loops: 3–6 weeks. Production wiring: 8–14 weeks for most automation circuits. Depends on integration access, data preparation and review cycles.
Models and infrastructure?
We work with major LLM APIs, Azure OpenAI, open-weight models, vector stores for RAG and standard cloud or on-prem compute. Choices follow your data privacy, latency and budget — documented in the project roadmap.
Data privacy and PIPEDA?
PIPEDA-compliant handling for Canadian client data. Processing agreements define retention, subprocessors and cross-border transfers. Sensitive workloads can use Canadian-region or on-prem deployment.
Who owns IP?
Custom automation circuits, prompts and integrations built for you are yours on payment per contract. Our pre-existing frameworks remain ours. Third-party model terms apply separately.
Accuracy and human oversight?
Generative AI hallucinates. We design humans on the loop, guardrails and evals — never promise flawless output. Model evaluation metrics are shared honestly before and after launch.
What we do NOT do
No courses, AI-income schemes, crypto trading bots, AGI claims, guaranteed ROI, or replacing your staff. No fabricated partner badges. No wellness coaching.
Can you integrate with our existing tools?
Yes — workflow wiring is central to our work. We connect conversational AI and automation circuits to CRMs, help desks, Slack, Teams, ERP systems and custom APIs. Integration complexity affects timeline and CAD fees; we map dependencies during the prototype loop.
Do you offer on-prem or private cloud deployment?
Available for clients with strict data residency requirements. PIPEDA-compliant architecture can keep retrieval and inference within Canadian regions or your VPC. Trade-offs include latency, cost and model selection — we document these candidly in the project roadmap.
How do guardrails and evals work in practice?
Before production deployment we run regression eval sets, red-team prompts and policy checks for toxicity and PII leakage. Post-launch MLOps monitors drift. When metrics slip, humans on the loop handle edge cases while we tune prompts or retrieval — not autonomous self-modification without review.
What happens after production deployment?
Most clients move to a retainer for monitoring, prompt updates, retrieval refreshes and periodic eval runs. Models and policies change; automation circuits need maintenance like any production system. We document handoff procedures if you prefer in-house ops.
Do you work with companies outside Vancouver?
Yes. We serve Canadian organizations nationally and North American clients remotely. West Georgia studio sessions are optional for discovery and workflow mapping when in-person collaboration accelerates the prototype loop.
What makes Synth Circuit different from a generic AI agency?
